The MD35 Mini Camera is a small digital video recorder built around a round, matte dark-grey body with a folding arch bracket. The camera module sits atop the bracket, and the lens rotates 180° while the bracket rotates 90°, so the unit can be placed flat on a surface or stood upright. Printed dimensions are 79 mm in diameter and 15 mm in height, and the folded body is small enough to rest on fingertips.

The housing is made from plastic with an anti-fall design, which suits everyday placement on desks, shelves and similar surfaces. A single key starts recording, so there is no menu sequence to work through before capture begins.
